ibox Universal

ibox Universal concealed part, required for installation with all Hansgrohe concealed bath and shower mixers (both thermostatic or non-thermostatic), except the Focus range, which requires its own version of the ibox.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

It is recommended that you have a minimum of 1.5bar pressure for all Hansgrohe concealed bath and shower mixers and 2bar for the highflow versions. Minimum pressure requirements may be greater for feeding multiple shower outlets at the same time and shower set-ups with a larger flow rate of water than around 20 litres per minute - please call for advice.

Works with condensing combination boilers.

You will require a pump for use with gravity-fed water systems.

Installation depth required is 82mm - 110mm. The ibox is designed to be trimmed back to meet flush with the tiling. The maximum it can be cut back allows a minimum of 82mm from the outside of the tiling to the back wall. If you have less than 82mm depth, you can use a reduction collar (below) to bring the ibox further out of the wall, bearing in mind that your concealed mixer unit that installs into the ibox will stands 22mm further out from the wall.

WRAS Approved

The ibox universal reduction collar kit is used if the wall depth is too shallow and the front of the ibox prodrudes out of the wall boyond the point it can be trimmed back to. The reduction collar reduces the installation depth requirement by 22mm to give an absolute minimum of 60mm from the outside of the tiling to the back wall.

This is an optional requirement for installation of the ibox universal only (not applicable to Focus iboxes).
