Hansgrohe AXOR ibox Universal and Concealed Parts

ibox Universal concealed part, required for installation with all Hansgrohe concealed bath and shower mixers (both thermostatic or non-thermostatic), except one option in the Focus range, which requires its own version of the ibox (13620 180). Complete with 3 x 0.75" to 0.5" reducers and one 0.75" cap for reducing to 0.5" pipework, when required.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

It is recommended that you have a minimum of 1.5bar pressure for all Hansgrohe concealed bath and shower mixers, with the exception of Highflow thermostatic mixers, which are able to run on low pressure down to 0.1bar, so long as any product being used with it is also suitable for low pressure. Minimum pressure of end products such as shower heads vary and requirements will be greater for feeding multiple shower outlets at the same time and shower set-ups with a larger flow rate of water than around 20 litres per minute - please call for advice if required.

Works with condensing combination boilers.

You will require a pump for use with gravity-fed water systems, if not fitting with a Highflow thermostat.

Installation depth required is 82mm - 110mm. The ibox is designed to be trimmed back to meet flush with the tiling. The maximum it can be cut back allows a minimum of 82mm from the outside of the tiling to the back wall. If you have less than 82mm depth, you can use a reduction collar (below) to bring the ibox further out of the wall, bearing in mind that your concealed mixer unit that installs into the ibox will stands 22mm further out from the wall.

The ibox Universal reduction collar kit is used if the wall depth is too shallow and the front of the ibox protrudes out of the wall beyond the point it can be trimmed back to. The reduction collar reduces the installation depth requirement by 22mm to give an absolute minimum of 60mm from the outside of the tiling to the back wall.

This is an optional requirement for installation of the ibox universal only, suitable for all shower, bath and thermostatic finish sets of 170mm diameter and round (not applicable to Focus ibox [13620 180] and square finish sets).

The ibox Universal extension set for use when the depth behind the wall is too deep for correct installation. This allows a further 25mm depth above the 110mm maximum depth from the front of the tiling to the back of the wall.

The imodul, concealed pre-installation basic set for shower systems, consisting of: ibox universal basic set, Shut-off valve basic set, Quattro four-way diverter valve basic set. connection for hand shower hose (wall outlet connection), connection for six side showers (body jets) pre-drilled, outlet for overhead shower and two separate outlets for optional installation of the side showers to another position.

For fixing in the wall or pre-wall installation with fixing system (from 75mm stand). Seal proofed and completely pre-installed. The i-modul can be planked, plastered or tiled.
